Ag sa umalabot pa tong pyesta,   I got a call from Oklahoma.  It was Inday Rue Limbaga-Sibala calling to explain nga dili siya maka-attend karong pyestaha.   Ngano man, 'Day?   And she gave two reasons: 
    "Una," ingon si Inday Rue, "nagkasabut na man gud mi si Litoy nga dili usa magpakita kay basi'g  maklaro na unya ninyo, ha, ha, ha!"  kage-ke gyud to niyag  maayo. ( Bali niyang katawa kay abi pa niya wala ko moto-o.)     
    "Ikaduha, " she continued  (this time now with  seeming seriousness) and in a melodramatic voice, said:  "I have an apostlic mission."   
    That struck me.  With images of her Lolo Amoy,  Tanjay's  beloved priest of generations ago,  and other men of the cloth following the footsteps of the apostles,  I remarked:  "Pwerteha pud di-ay nimo, 'Day!  Unsa man nang imong apostolic mission?"  
    "Ay, ada, Apostolic, nagbantay gud sa mga apo!"  she answered. 

    Si Tiago Allright driver 'to siya'ng gwatsinanggo  kaayo.  Hari gyud. Inig-larga sa truck, sugod pue na siya'g palami gyu'g  estorya.   
    Ika-usa diha,  sakay  mi si Elpi sa Colina Trans  paingon sa  Dumaguete. Paglarga gyud, andar pud dayon si Tiago:    "Kitang mga Tanjayanon, kining atong pagka-pilosopo,  usahay ma-subra-an ra."  
    "Kay ngano man di-ay, Tiago", nangutana si Tio David Barot, nga sakay pud diay sa trak. 
    "Tan-awa ra ni si Tonio.   Guipalitan siya sa iyang anak ug usa  ka botelyang  tabletas para unta sa iyang hubak  didto sa  Farmacia San Rafael.  Ag sa Mayo pa ato.  Hangtud 'ron wala pa niya abrehe."  
    "Ngano'ng wa man abrehe?" nangutana tong usang pasahero.  
    "Kay iya kunong guituman ang instructions."  
    "Unsa man diay  gui-ingon sa instructions?"  
    "ALWAYS KEEP BOTTLE TIGHTLY CLOSED!" 

    As the curtain rises, lights are dimmed, audience' vision is guided by a  soft and gentle light  to center stage which is the middle of the room.  There is a solitary bed.  An old man is lying, almost motionless.  He is  Syongho, a rich man, long bedridden,   his life now slowly ebbing away.  By the side of the bed the audience could make out the profile of a woman  whose body is shaken by gentle sobs.  She is Lucia, his wife:   pretty and  loving and  gentle and  caring.  She is from Tanjay..  Background music (violin) plays "Dakilang Pag-ibig!" . . .  

SYONGHO (faltering, weak voice, eyes closed, recalling  bygone  days):  Lucia, ako asawa,  . . . sa ako kinabuhi 
           ikaw uban.   Ako negosyo naputo, . . . ikaw uban.  Ako accidente,  . . . ikaw uban.  Ako atake kasingkasing, . .          ikaw uban.  . . .Karon ako hapit na patay,  . . . ikaw uban guihapon.  Lucia. . .  . Oh,  Lucia . . ." 
LUCIA (in between sobs, placing her ear near Syongho's lips so she can  hear her the last words of her old dying  husband): 
 SYONGHO (very weak, as if in a whisper):  Lucia . . . ikaw. .  diay . . . dala . . . dimalas . . . sa . . . ako . . . kinabuhi.    

Episode 1 - Ovary: His Terectomy? 
       Iting:     Lo-oy ayo Tatay.  Iya tiyan burot.  Iya tiyan sakit.  Operahan  siya doktor matres. 
       Beboy:  Matres?  Uy Iting, ang matres sa babaye ra na. Si  Tatay nimo dili mahimong operahan sa matres. 
       Iting:     Ingon man doktor lagi operahan matres. 
       Beboy:  Ambi nganong sa matres man siya operahan? 
       Iting:     Kay adto man  Cebu ang doktor sa  Lunes, so sa Matres na siya  operahan. 
       Beboy:  Haral!
